On the bottom right of the picture, 17-year-old Youssef Amira is seen during the funeral of the 11 year-old killed the day before by the Israeli army in Nilin.
A few hours later, Youssef was shot by Israeli soldiers. He was taken to Ramallah hospital and was declared brain dead.
Youssef was on his way to visit his uncle when an Israeli jeep which was chasing some youth who were throwing stones stopped and opened fire on him at a distance of around 8 meters. He was shot by two rubber coated bullets in his head. The ambulance could not reach him and some Palestinians had to carry him through olive trees fields. Doctors in Ramallah hospital declared that his death was imminent - "a matter of hours".

About 100 activists protest in front of Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak's residence (seen in the back) in Tel Aviv on 30/7/2008. The protest was held as a response to the murder of Ahmad Husam Yousef Mousa, 11-years-old, by the Israeli army, during a demonstration against the apartheid wall in the west bank village of Nilin.
While the protest was taking place in Tel Aviv, anther Palestinian youth was shot in the head in Nilin. He is now clinically dead.

Returning from a protest at Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak's residence, a few activists an Israeli army spokesman inside an ice-cream shop.
The activists tried to talk with him, asking for his response about the army brutality in Nilin, but he refused to speak. One activist stood out side the shop, showing the spokesman the poster of the 11-year-old Palestinian boy shot by Israeli soliders. The spokesman left the place after a few minutes in order to avoid the small protest.
